I handle the teaching of our Kindergarten students — guiding their elementary experience to instill a love of learning with grace, kindness, love and positive academic influence. Teaching all academic subject areas and the foundational skills needed for a strong educational journey, I help students grow their curiosity, stamina, problem solving and self-confidence.

Why I love teaching

I love experiencing the sparks of joy and transformative moments that occurs in Kindergarten. I love building students up as capable and confident readers, writers and mathematicians–seeing that growth is what I love!

Where do you see God’s handprints in your job here?

Feeling proud to share faith, prayer and acts of forgiveness is one of the many ways I see God working throughout the kindergarten classrooms.

What’s a gift or secret talent you have?

I was a high school dance teacher for 5 years, taught at a local dance studio for 5 years and was a color guard coach for 12 years! I love the arts!
