School Fundraisers
Elegant Evening (late winter)
Our annual fundraising gala brings the community together to support student programs and school priorities.
Walkathon (late fall)
The Walkathon helps fund PE programs, PTO events, and athletic needs. Any extra funds go toward future special projects.

Stocks
Donating non-cash assets, such as stocks or mutual funds, is a great way to give to Holy Cross. It can provide a tax benefit for the donor and maximize the gift to our church and school.

FAQ
Does my gift go to the school or the church?
It supports both. Holy Cross has a unified budget, which means gifts are used where they’re needed most across the whole ministry — school, church, and shared staff. This allows us to steward resources well and make sure students, families, and the full community benefit from your generosity.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Holy Cross Lutheran Church & School is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Can I designate my gift for a specific need?
- Most gifts are directed to the Holy Cross General Fund, which covers all school and church operations.
- There are two fundraisers throughout the year that support specific needs of the school.
- You can give to the Above & Beyond Capital Campaign.
