At Holy Cross, students build, explore, and solve problems through hands-on, real-world projects. Along the way, they begin to see and appreciate how God designed the world.
What STEM Looks Like at Holy Cross
Preschool
The Collab Cart is a mobile way to bring STEM activities and materials into the classroom for building, sorting, and experimenting. This exploration sparks curiosity, develops fine motor skills, and builds problem-solving abilities.
Kindergarten–5th Grade
Students use the Collaboratory (our dedicated STEM space) for coding, engineering challenges, digital citizenship lessons, and hands-on experiments that connect with their core subjects.
Middle School
Students dig deeper in the STEM Lab with projects in biology, design thinking, planning and construction, and multi-phase problem-solving. From robotics to physics challenges, they explore how science shapes their world.
How We Teach STEM
