I handle
the wild, sweet, everyday noise of a room full of growing kids.
Why I love teaching…
There’s a profound joy in being part of a faith-filled community where I get to build real, lasting connections with these children and their families. Watching a hesitant child transform over the year—learning to trust that I’m in their corner, learning to give and receive tender grace with their friends, and eventually shining with confidence—makes every single hug, high-five, and shared laugh a priceless blessing.
Experience
I graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Family and Child Development before spending several years in Human Resources and cloud-based technology implementations. While that season was incredibly rewarding, watching my own children start school drew my heart back to my roots in early childhood education.
Where do you see God’s handprints in your job at Holy Cross?
When a parent walks in nervous or exhausted and leaves knowing their child is genuinely loved and cared for in our classroom.
What’s a secret talent or gift you have?
I am secretly a Parry Gripp fan!
While most adults can only take so many kids’ songs before going cross-eyed, I’m in there genuinely enjoying jam sessions about Raining Tacos, Space Unicorn, and I Like Broccoli. Haha
