Nikki Higgins

I am delighted to begin my 1st year at Holy Cross!  My goal is to create a safe, fun, play-based, faith-filled classroom environment where creative minds will feel inspired to grow and blossom.  I am passionate about encouraging students to be independent, curious and adventurous while developing essential social/emotional skills to help them thrive.  I started teaching preschool in 2003 after completing my B.S. in Early Childhood Education at IU Bloomington.  My hobbies include raising my 4 active children, traveling, caring for our farm animals, being in nature, art, music, planting flowers and attending sporting events.  I look forward to getting to know my new students in the 3’s class and their families!
